ATC Slideshow

Africa

These colours made me think of Africa which is how this series of ATC's came about. For the Giraffe I used a part of one of my favourite stamps. The zebra I drew myself using pen and ink, he's not quite right really, however I will practice.

The Water Carrier is also a stamp, which unfortunately does not belong to me. The Masia Warrior on the other hand I drew using pencil and painted him with watercolours. It is doubtful whether he look anything like a Masia Warrior, but I loved the colours.

My favourite Christmas ATC

I did this one for an organised swap the theme was 'Song for Christmas'. I love using shrink plastic, so any excuse. Used it to make the little plaque of The Three Kings. Used tea and coffee to distress the sheet music. I really love this one. I love everything about Christmas, even the hassle in the shops.

Burn's Night

A week ago today it was 'Burns Night' and in celebration of the great bard himself, I created this ATC. It is not a great scan of it, the colours haven't come out very well. The background is chocolate coloured, ridged card to which I added a torn picture of the great man. I then distressed the picture and background card using gold pigment ink and embossing it. I used shrink plastic for his name. I really liked this one and I know it went to a good home when I swapped it with a lovely Lady called Loretta.

My First ATC

This is my first ATC, using my favourite technique, stamping. The background is cross hatched in turquoise ink then the scripted is stamped and embossed. The flower is stamped, embossed and then water-coloured. I then cut it out and mounted it with 3D pads.
The butterfly is a sticker on acetate, then coloured on the back. It is also mounted with 3D pads. I don't often use stickers, but this one seemed to fit the card.
